AWS Solution Architect Job Opportunity

JOB TITLE: AWS Solution Architect

REPORTING TO: Technical Delivery Manager 

LOCATION: Remote, Hybrid and Office based options available 

THE ROLE: 

This exciting role will include assisting small to medium sized entities, including private and public bodies, to migrate from on premise IT to hybrid cloud as well as working with internal and customer development teams working in multiple industry verticals. In addition, there will be the opportunity to train on other public and private cloud offerings as part of the Anaeko training programme. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• – Working with clients to establish cloud migration strategies 
• – Working with established and experienced geographically distributed agile software development teams as a subject matter expert 
• – Assisting in pre-sales activities 
• – Mentoring more junior staff 
• – Continuous professional development, innovation and improvement. 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 

• – Degree in a relevant discipline (or alternatively possessing broader experience than required below) 
• – At least 4 years experience 
• – AWS certified Solution Architect Associate 
• – Full software lifecycle experience using agile development technologies 

DESIRABLE CRITERIA: 

• – AWS certified Solution Architect Professional 
• – Experience in cloud migration 
• – Experience of containerization
