DevOps Engineer Job Opportunity

JOB TITLE: DevOps Engineer

REPORTING TO: Technical Delivery Manager 

LOCATION: Remote, Hybrid and Office based options available 

THE ROLE: 

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the build of platforms that run business critical services for Anaeko clients and partners. You will work as part of a Scrum team delivering solutions on an iterative basis. You will implement solutions based on existing catalogue items from Development through to Production. You will offer strong stakeholder management skills and deal with stakeholders from various parts of the business, our customer and third parties. You will be responsible for establishing and deploying environments and continuously improving products and services. In addition, there is the opportunity to train and achieve certifications in a wide range of technologies as part of the Anaeko training programme. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• – Design and build secure cloud infrastructure using infrastructure automation 
• – Design, build and maintain CI/CD systems using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible and Azure DevOps 
• – Work with agile development processes and take ownership for certain aspects of the CI/CD processes by putting appropriate methods and tools in place 
• – Implement monitoring, log analysis and reporting systems 
• – Work with Product Owners and other key Stakeholders to create project Backlog 
• – Build platforms as part of a product 

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: 

• – Degree in a relevant discipline (or alternatively possessing broader experience than required below) 
• – 2 year’s experience in a DevOps role or a developer role involving significant DevOps responsibilities 
• – Experienced in DevOps tooling – Agile tooling (Jira), Collaboration (Confluence & MS Teams) 
• – Experienced in at least one of the main cloud technologies – AWS, Azure, RedHat, GCP, IBM Cloud 
• – Strong working knowledge of Linux, Windows and OSX 

DESIRABLE CRITERIA: 

• – Other Cloud technology experience 
• – Oracle knowledge and experience 
• – SQL 
• – DevOps Certification 
• – Agile (SAFe and SCRUM)
